    Carne Guisada Recipe (Made with Beef Shoulder) T Carne Guisada Recipe (Made with Beef Shoulder)

Ingredients:
• ¼ cup olive oil
• 3 lbs beef chuck shoulder, cut into pieces
• 1 large onion, diced
• 2 green bell peppers, diced
• 3 large Roma tomatoes, diced
• 1 teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon black pepper
• 2 teaspoons cumin
• 1½ teaspoons chili powder
• 1 tablespoon tomato paste
• 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
• 3–4 cups broth

Instructions:
	1	Preheat oven to 350°F.
	2	Season the beef with salt and pepper. In a large pot, heat olive oil and sear the meat until browned. Remove and set aside.
	3	In the same pot, sauté the diced onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes. Add cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper, cooking until softened and fragrant.
	4	Stir in the flour and cook until it absorbs the oil and forms a light roux.
	5	Return the beef to the pot. Add broth and tomato paste, stirring to combine.
	6	Cover and transfer to the oven. Cook for 2–3 hours, or until the meat is tender and the sauce is rich and thick.

Serve warm and enjoy this hearty, comforting dish! 🤤
